Job Title: Mechanical Engineer (Robotics & Automation)Company Overview

Position Summary

We are seeking a precise, hands-on, and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our core R&D and Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the mechanical design, structural analysis, prototyping, and testing of robotic components and automated turnkey systems. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in kinematics, loves hardware engineering, and thrives in a multidisciplinary environment alongside software and control engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Mechanical & Mechanism Design: Conceptualize and design mechanical components, structures, and systems for industrial robots and automation equipment using 3D CAD software.
• Engineering Analysis: Perform structural, thermal, and kinematic analyses (FEA) to ensure product reliability, safety, and optimal material selection.
• Prototyping & Testing: Build, assembly, and test mechanical prototypes. Conduct rigorous design verification tests to troubleshoot and optimize mechanical performance.
• Manufacturing Documentation: Prepare precise manufacturing drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), assembly instructions, and technical documentation in compliance with standard engineering practices.
• Cross-functional Integration: Coordinate closely with electrical, controls, and software teams to integrate mechanical hardware into seamless automated systems.
• Vendor & Sourcing Management: Liaise with fabricators and component vendors to source high-quality mechanical parts and manage prototyping timelines.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• Technical Skills: 2+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical design. High proficiency in 3D CAD modeling tools, preferably SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or Creo.
• Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of standard manufacturing processes (CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, 3D printing) and selection of mechanical components (motors, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatic systems).
• Mindset: A natural problem-solver with a meticulous attention to detail and a passion for robotics and industrial hardware.
• Communication: Strong technical communication skills to work effectively within multi-disciplinary project teams.
