Role Description The Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in WP, Kuala Lumpur. This role is responsible for managing and growing client accounts, acting as the main point of contact for corporate customers, and ensuring the successful delivery of training solutions. Daily tasks include building strong client relationships, understanding client business and training needs, preparing proposals, coordinating training schedules, and following up on program outcomes. The Account Manager will collaborate with internal teams to align services with client expectations, monitor account performance, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling relevant training offerings. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, preparing reports for management, and supporting business development activities.

Qualifications

  • Strong client relationship management and customer service skills, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor to corporate clients.
  • Account management and sales capabilities, including experience in proposal preparation, negotiation, and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Organizational and coordination skills to manage multiple training programs, schedules, and stakeholder expectations effectively.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages commonly used in Malaysia is an advantage.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to understand client needs and recommend suitable training solutions.
  • Comfort with using CRM systems, office productivity tools, and basic data reporting to track account activity and outcomes.
  • Prior experience in training, learning and development, education services, or related B2B service industries is beneficial.
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Ability to work on-site in WP, Kuala Lumpur, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt to a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
