Role Purpose:

As an Assistant Procurement Manager, you will support Company’s procurement strategy and activities including supplier contract review, packaging materials supply, own brand/agency finish good replenishment, new product development etc.

A typical day in the Role:

• Provide procurement and contract administration services and maintenance contracts

• Organize and facilitate end-to-end procurement processes from tendering process

• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve the most desirable business and contract terms

• Ensure compliance with established procurement policies; develop and enhance policies according to business needs

• Source new suppliers and support R&D / Marketing on new product development

• Provide analytical support and work with BPA team on procurement data and cost saving strategies

• Identify potential new OEM business partners, improve the OEM product quality and negotiate commercial trading terms

Success will depend on:

• Degree holder in purchasing / procurement / business management / retail or FMGC trading related services

• At least 5 years solid experience in Procurement (FMCG background is preferred)

• Experience in demand planning and supply planning support is essential

• Product development and project management experience is an added advantage

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (Excel & PowerPoint)

• Experience and knowledge in ERP system is an advantage, preferably Oracle

• Good negotiation, problem-solving, time management, interpersonal and communication skills

• Good team player, self-motivated and proactive

• Good command of written and spoken Cantonese, Mandarin and English

• Occasional business travel may be required
