Role Description The Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Kuala Lumpur, responsible for managing and growing relationships with advertising and brand partners. The position involves overseeing end-to-end campaign delivery, from brief intake and proposal development through execution, reporting, and post-campaign evaluation. The Account Manager will coordinate with internal teams such as content, creative, marketing, and operations to ensure that client objectives are met on time and within budget. Daily activities include monitoring campaign performance, preparing client updates, managing timelines, resolving issues, and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling Tatler Asia’s solutions. The role also includes supporting new business pitches, contributing to account strategies, and maintaining accurate records in CRM and reporting tools.
Qualifications
- Client relationship management skills, including the ability to build trust, manage expectations, and maintain long-term partnerships.
- Account and project management skills to handle multiple campaigns, coordinate timelines, and ensure high-quality delivery.
- Sales and business development skills to identify opportunities, prepare proposals, and support negotiations with brand and agency partners.
- Analytical and reporting skills to interpret campaign data, prepare performance reports, and make data-informed recommendations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and adapt to changing client needs.
- Familiarity with digital media, branded content, and luxury or lifestyle industries is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, presentation software, and common office productivity applications.
