Job Summary

H L Yong is seeking a reliable, responsible and customer-oriented Delivery Driver to join our Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of goods to our customers across Singapore while ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining the Company's high standards of safety and professionalism.

When not performing deliveries, the Delivery Driver will support warehouse operations to ensure efficient day-to-day logistics and inventory activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver products safely, accurately and on time to customers throughout Singapore.
• Load, unload and verify goods against delivery orders before and after each delivery.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximise productivity and meet delivery schedules.
• Liaise professionally with customers regarding delivery timings and any delivery-related matters.
• Obtain customers' acknowledgement and proof of delivery where required.
• Perform daily inspections of the assigned delivery vehicle and ensure it is kept clean, roadworthy and well maintained.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents or maintenance issues promptly.
• Ensure all deliveries comply with company procedures and safety regulations.
• Assist with receiving, picking, packing, stock replenishment and general warehouse duties during non-delivery periods.
• Support stock take exercises and other operational activities as required.
• Work closely with the warehouse and customer service teams to ensure smooth fulfilment of customer orders.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by the Warehouse Manager or Operations Manager.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence.
• Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safe driving practices.
• Minimum 1–2 years of delivery driving experience preferred, preferably within the FMCG, food distribution or logistics industry.
• Physically fit and able to load, unload and handle cartons and goods safely.
• Familiar with Singapore roads and able to use navigation applications efficiently.
• Responsible, punctual and dependable with good time management skills.
• Positive attitude with a strong customer service mindset.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Willing to assist in warehouse operations when required.
