Key Responsibilities:

Production Operations

· Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production output, quality, and delivery targets.

· Monitor production schedules and manpower allocation to ensure efficient workflow and resource utilization.

· Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and production plans.

· Monitor production performance and take immediate corrective actions to address production issues.

· Coordinate with Planning, Warehouse, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance departments to support production requirements.

Quality Management

· Ensure products are manufactured in accordance with customer specifications and quality standards.

· Enforce compliance with ISO, ESD, and other applicable quality management systems.

· Support root cause analysis, corrective actions (CA), and preventive actions (PA) for production defects and non-conformances.

· Monitor production quality indicators and drive improvements to reduce defects and rework.

Production Support

· Identify and resolve production issues, equipment downtime, and material shortages to minimize production interruptions.

· Coordinate with Maintenance and Engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and production efficiency.

· Support New Product Introduction (NPI), engineering changes, and production transfer activities.

People Management

· Lead, coach, and motivate Production Operators and Line Leaders to achieve departmental objectives.

· Conduct daily production meetings, shift briefings, and performance reviews.

· Train new and existing employees on production processes, quality requirements, safety practices, and company policies.

· Evaluate employee performance and provide coaching, feedback, and development plans.

· Monitor employee attendance, discipline, and compliance with company rules and regulations.

Safety & Compliance

· Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, ESD requirements, and environmental policies.

· Promote and maintain 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

· Investigate and report workplace accidents, near misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions.

· Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.

Documentation & Reporting

· Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.

· Monitor key production metrics including productivity, efficiency, downtime, scrap, and yield.

· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management review.

· Support internal, external, customer, and ISO audits by ensuring production documentation is complete and compliant.

Continuous Improvement

· Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost.

· Participate in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and process improvement projects.

· Recommend improvements to production processes, layouts, and workflows.

Other Duties

· Perform any other duties assigned by management.

· Support company initiatives and cross-functional projects as required.

Job Requirements

Education

· Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Experience

· Minimum 3 years of experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the manufacturing industry.

· Experience in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) or contract manufacturing is an added advantage.

· Fresh graduates with strong leadership potential and relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply for junior supervisory positions.

Skills & Competencies

· Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and inventory management.

· Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.

· Familiarity with ISO quality systems and ESD control requirements.

· Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills.

· Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/MES systems is an advantage.

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.

Working Environment

· Manufacturing Environment (EMS/Contract Manufacturing)

· Production Floor-Based Position

· May be required to work shifts, overtime, weekends, or public holidays based on production requirements.

Pay: Up to RM4,950.00 per month

Work Location: In person
