Position : Application Support Specialist

Salary : RM 3,500 – RM 4,500

Location : Morning Shift (Desa Aman Puri, Kepong) ; Night Shift (Imazium,
Uptown Damansara)

Working Hours : Morning Shift (6.00am - 6.00pm) ; Night Shift (6.00pm - 6.00am)

Working Days : Follow a 4 days on, 4 days off work pattern, which includes weekends and public holiday as scheduled.

Job Summary

We are seeking an Application Support Specialist to provide technical support, maintenance, and implementation assistance for software applications used by customers. The role ensures smooth system operations, effective issue resolution, and high customer satisfaction through both remote and onsite support.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide application support and maintenance to ensure smooth customer operations
• Assist in onsite and remote system installation for new clients, including overseas deployments when required
• Conduct user training and product demonstrations for both new and existing clients
• Perform standby duty on a rotational basis to provide remote support outside regular hours
• Handle customer enquiries and provide troubleshooting for Point-of-Sales (POS) and system-related issues
• Perform remote debugging and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Prepare user guides, system documentation, and support customization requests
• Track, follow up, and resolve issues using the ticketing system within SLA timelines
• Assist in software testing and validation for system updates and enhancements
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Information Technology or related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in application support or related IT role
• Willing to work in rotational shifts and standby duty schedule
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Strong knowledge of SQL and basic networking tools
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently
• Fast learner with strong multitasking and time management skills
• Customer-focused with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel for onsite support, including overseas assignments when required

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
