Summary:

The Commissioning Engineer I&C supports the Senior I&C Commissioning Engineer in commissioning and start-up of the supplier’s I&C equipment as well as interfaces to other suppliers’ scopes.

The Commissioning Engineer I&C performs commissioning of I&C components and supports the commissioning of I&C systems.

Responsibilities (technical):

· Commissioning of I&C components like:

automation processors
sensors and drives
DCS logic diagrams & logic symbols
DCS tools
handling of programming languages

· Commissioning of I&C systems like:

interlock checks according to logic diagrams (as support to process engineers)
optimization of control circuits according to logic diagrams together with process engineers

.Commissioning of I&C of black boxes

Responsibilities (administrative):

Reporting to the Senior I&C Commissioning Engineer
Performing commissioning of the supplied equipment as per commissioning manual or procedures and site instructions as well as the suppliers’ manual
Supporting the preparation of commissioning documentation
Identifying, recording, and reporting of field changes and other problems surrounding the supplier’s scope to the Senior I&C Commissioning Engineer
Identifying and resolving conflicts between specified and as-built condition
Identifying potential delays to the Project Controller or Senior I&C Commissioning Engineer, respectively
Recording entries into the punch list for construction and commissioning management
Maintaining daily site logs which record all major activities, problems, etc.

Qualification:

Experience in execution of identical or similar commissioning works
Technical qualification to interpret commissioning procedures, manuals, documentation and related software
Knowledge of the power plant identification system (KKS system)
Command of the English language in writing and speaking

• Reposting office: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Head Office
• Work type: On-site / International mobility
• Description line: This role involves international deployment to project sites worldwide as required.
