Bayu Purnama Sdn Bhd is looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Business Development Engineer to join our team at the Bintulu Workshop, Sarawak. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the inspection, maintenance, overhaul, and troubleshooting of mechanical rotating equipment, primarily in the oil and gas sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for rotating equipment services and reverse engineering within the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industries
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis
• Attend client meetings, presentations, and industry events
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to company growth
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Must be local Sarawakian
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas Business Development/Sales Industries
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Experience in handling tenders and bidding process is an advantage
• Able to work independently and under pressure
• Willing to travel when required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge in upstream/downstream Oil & Gas operations
• Good networking within the industry
• Strong presentation skills
