Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree in Science or related disciplines; (ii) a good knowledge of and interest in research; (iii) experience in conducting basic research; (iv) high motivation, responsibility, and attention to detail. Applicants with bioinformatics skills will be an advantage.

The appointee will work in the research team at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Shatin. He/She will be responsible for (a) participating in basic research; (b) performing animal and cell experiments, such as surgery, gavage, injection, cell culture, etc.; (c) conducting data and molecular biological analysis, such as qPCR, western blot, staining; (d) preparing paper and funding application; and (e) performing other duties as assigned.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
