Role Purpose:

The position holder(s) will manage the sales turnover of respective category, source new and innovative product, price negotiation with suppliers, communicate with internal supporting teams in delivering O+O (Offline plus Online) experience with excellence to our customers.

A typical day in this Role:

• Assisting the Trading / Category manager in developing and executing category strategies to drive sales, profitability, and market share

• Conducting market research and analyzing data to identify trends, opportunities, and consumer insights

• Assisting in vendor selection and management, negotiation of contracts, and pricing strategies

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as marketing, merchandising, and supply chain to ensure effective execution of category plans

• Managing the product assortment, ensuring that it is aligned with the overall strategy and meets customer needs

• Monitoring and analyzing category performance metrics and making recommendations for improvement

• Supporting the creation of promotional and marketing campaigns to drive category growth

• Assisting in hitting of assigned KPI's for the category

• Knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior

• Experience working with vendors and negotiating contracts

• Experience with health & beauty products or retail is preferred

• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Category Manager
