SAP Data Migration Consultant

About the Role

We are looking for a SAP Data Migration Consultant to support SAP S/4HANA transformation programs by delivering high-quality data migration solutions from SAP and non-SAP systems into SAP S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver end-to-end SAP S/4HANA data migration solutions.
• Analyze source systems and define migration strategies for SAP and non-SAP applications.
• Develop and execute data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and loading activities.
• Perform data profiling, reconciliation, and quality assurance checks.
• Execute data migration using SAP Migration Cockpit and related tools.
• Support migration testing, mock loads, cutover planning, and go-live activities.
• Collaborate with business users, consultants, developers, and project teams.
• Prepare migration documentation, standards, and best practices.

Core Competencies

SAP Data Migration

• Proven experience delivering SAP S/4HANA data migration projects.
• Strong expertise with SAP Migration Cockpit and migration execution.
• Experience managing mock migrations, reconciliation, and production cutovers.

Data Integration & Transformation

• Hands-on experience with SAP Data Services, SAP BusinessObjects, or similar ETL tools.
• Strong capability in data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and loading.
• Solid understanding of data quality and migration governance.

SAP Technical Expertise

• Strong knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4HANA data structures and business processes.
• Ability to analyze complex data relationships and migration dependencies.
• Good understanding of SAP HANA, SQL, and data modeling.

ABAP & Custom Development

• Experience supporting migration requirements through ABAP development.
• Ability to analyze SAP tables, custom objects, CDS Views, and APIs.
• Knowledge of RAP and migration-related services is an advantage.

Delivery & Collaboration

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional and global project teams.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Agile delivery environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of SAP data migration, ETL, or SAP implementation experience.
• Proven delivery experience in SAP S/4HANA transformation projects.
• Professional proficiency in English.
