The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Murex IT Project Manager to lead a high-impact Murex cloud migration initiative within the finance sector. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned project delivery professional to take ownership of a complex, high-visibility transformation programmer, working closely with senior stakeholders, vendors, and technology teams in a regulated banking environment.

What You'll Do:

• Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle for Murex migration using Waterfall methodology, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and governance documentation

• Oversee cloud migration, infrastructure readiness, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support

• Manage project scope, change requests, dependencies, and resource planning while proactively mitigating risks and issues

• Organize and lead Steering Committee meetings, preparing status reports and presentations for executive stakeholders

• Manage communication and coordination across business users, technology teams, vendors, and infrastructure partners

• Oversee vendor and regulatory compliance, including audit remediation and adherence to internal controls

• Ensure adherence to SDLC governance, including requirements gathering, SIT, UAT, and production deployment

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related discipline

• Minimum 8 years of IT Project Management experience, including at least 5 years delivering Murex projects

• Proven experience managing cloud migration projects involving Murex is mandatory

• Experience within Banking, Financial Services, Treasury, Capital Markets, or Insurance industries

• Strong understanding of Murex platform architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and SDLC/testing frameworks

• PRINCE2 or PMP certification preferred

• Strong executive communication skills with demonstrated experience presenting to senior stakeholders and Steering Committees

• Malaysian citizens only, as this is an onsite role
