About this Opportunity
We are looking for an Integration Support Specialist ensuring that business system integrations are documented, supportable and reliable maintained. Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and reporting to the General Manager – Digital Enablement, you will work closely with project teams and cross-functional user groups to provides in a day-to-day operational support by investigating, diagnosing and resolving integration issues.
This is a 6- month fixed term contract with the possibility of extension based on business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a consistent documentation standard for all business system integrations, including purpose, data flows, schedules, dependencies, ownership and support contacts.
- Create and maintain inventory integration, interface registers, support runbooks and troubleshooting guides for each integration.
- Ensure documentation remains current following incidents, changes, releases or vendor updates.
- Monitor and support business system integrations to ensure smooth and reliable data exchange.
- Investigate and resolve integration failures, API errors, data transfer issues, and job scheduling problems.
- Resolve support tickets within agreed service expectations or escalate appropriately to technical specialists, vendors or application owners.
- Log, triage, and manage integration-related incidents, ensuring timely resolution within SLA.
- Support root cause analysis and help identify recurring issues with corrective act.
- Assist in integration-related changes, releases, and post-implementation validation.
- Support data validation and reconciliation between systems, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in application support tasks such as user access, configuration checks, and reference data updates.
- Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure system stability.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant working experience in application support, integration support, or IT operations.
- Strong understanding of best practices in application and integration support.
- Knowledge of database concepts, with basic proficiency in SQL queries, APIs, data flows, and data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, and Change Management) is an advantage.
- Experience in creating and maintaining integration documentation, support runbooks, interface registers, and troubleshooting guides.
- Basic experience in application administration, including user support, configuration checks, and routine operational maintenance.
- Experience working with vendors, application owners, technical teams, and business users to resolve system and integration issues.
- Exposure to ERP or enterprise systems (preferably IFS Cloud) is an advantage.
- Experience or exposure to Boomi Integration Platform, API tools, SQL, or cloud-based services is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, non-technical language and vice versa.
- Experience in requirements gathering and documentation, including the ability to produce clear and structured requirement artifacts.
