Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical AI Trainer to improve the performance of artificial intelligence models by creating, reviewing, and annotating high-quality data. The AI Trainer will work closely with AI engineers, data scientists, and quality teams to evaluate AI-generated outputs, provide accurate feedback, and ensure models deliver reliable, safe, and high-quality responses.

Key Responsibilities

• Annotate, label, and categorize text, images, audio, or other data according to established guidelines.
• Review and evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, relevance, safety, and quality.
• Identify errors, inconsistencies, and edge cases in AI outputs and provide constructive feedback.
• Develop and refine prompts to test AI model capabilities across various scenarios.
• Create, update, and maintain annotation guidelines and documentation.
• Perform quality assurance (QA) checks on annotated datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including AI engineers, data scientists, and project managers.
• Track progress, maintain productivity targets, and meet project deadlines.
• Report recurring issues and recommend improvements to workflows and AI model performance.
• Stay informed about AI technologies, annotation best practices, and emerging industry trends.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Linguistics, English, Psychology, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to interpret and follow detailed guidelines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data annotation, AI model evaluation, or content moderation.
• Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI.
• Experience with prompt engineering.
• Basic knowledge of machine learning concepts.
• Experience using annotation platforms or AI evaluation tools.
• Programming knowledge (Python, SQL, or JavaScript) is an advantage.

Working Conditions

• Freelance or contract position.
• Travel within Klang Valley
• May involve handling confidential or sensitive information.
• Requires adherence to data privacy and security policies.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
