Role Description The Solution Architect is a full-time, hybrid role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The role is responsible for designing end-to-end solutions that support iCEP’s event platforms and business processes, including defining technical architectures, integration patterns, and system workflows. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating business needs into scalable technical designs, and guiding software development teams in implementation. The Solution Architect will also conduct technical reviews, ensure integration between internal and external systems, and support continuous improvement of tools and processes used for event management. This role involves providing consultative guidance to internal teams and clients, addressing technical issues, and ensuring solutions align with security, performance, and sustainability standards.


Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess at least 10 years of experience in Solution Architecture, with the ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
  • Candidates should possess Consulting and Business Process skills to translate stakeholder requirements into practical technical solutions and optimized workflows.
  • Candidates should possess Software Development skills, including familiarity with modern development methodologies and collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Candidates should possess Integration skills to connect multiple platforms, applications, and data sources into cohesive end-to-end solutions.
  • Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field are beneficial.
  • Experience working in events, media, or related industries, and familiarity with event management or customer engagement platforms, is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in hybrid work environments, with good self-management, problem-solving, and collaboration capabilities.
