Curos is a holistic after-school care centre with locations across Singapore. We're looking for a Centre Manager who will be the heartbeat of their centre — someone who leads with warmth, takes pride in the environment they run, and genuinely cares about the children and families they serve.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll teach academic classes under the Learning Point curriculum, manage a team, own the parent relationship, and drive enrolment — all while keeping the daily operations of the centre running smoothly.
What you'll be doing:
Teaching & Student Experience
- Teach a minimum of 2–3 academic classes per week under the Learning Point curriculum (English, Mathematics, or Science, P1–P6), demonstrating strong subject knowledge and classroom delivery
- Mark assignments with value-added feedback and prepare termly progress reports for assigned students
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with parents through consistent written and verbal communication on student progress
Programme
- Oversee the planning and delivery of the centre's holistic programme — content, duty assignments, timelines, and resources
- Plan and facilitate special events and excursions during MOE school holidays (rotational full-day shifts required)
- Work with internal teams and external vendors to source and budget for holistic programmes; present all recommendations to leadership for sign-off
Centre Operations
- Manage daily centre operations including scheduling, make-up lessons, and administrative processes
- Ensure a safe, welcoming, and effective learning environment at all times
- Serve as the main point of contact for parent enquiries, billing, and ongoing relationship management
- Drive enrolment growth and manage student retention in line with company KPIs
- Lead centre-improvement initiatives — identify needs, develop plans, secure leadership approval, and oversee implementation
People Leadership
- Lead, develop, and support a team of teachers and assistants
- Set clear performance goals, track progress, and provide timely, constructive feedback
- Coach and nurture team members with guidance and support as needed
Job Requirements:
- Able to teach at least one core subject from P1 to P6: English, Mathematics, or Science
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Education, Business Management, or a related field
- Familiar with the current MOE syllabus and Singapore education system
- At least 4–5 years of teaching experience, including small group settings of 4–12 students
- At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills — able to build parent relationships, inspire staff, and collaborate across teams
- Genuinely passionate about nurturing children, with a track record of improving student outcomes and parent satisfaction
- Organised and proactive — able to manage daily operations while keeping sight of longer-term centre goals
