Job Summary

The System Test Engineer will independently execute and coordinate comprehensive system testing across hardware, embedded systems, and software platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality through detailed test reporting, troubleshooting, and defect resolution.

Responsibilities

• Conduct system testing on Physical Layer, Protocol, and On-Air/Field Tests for hardware, embedded systems, and software to validate performance and compliance
• Generate detailed, professional test reports for analysis, debugging, and submission to Type Approval authorities
• Develop new test cases and maintain or review existing test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Set up test systems including Physical Layer Tester, UT, hardware, PC, software, and related equipment to establish correct operating parameters
• Create and execute test scripts to support testing activities and system characterization

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering with at least 2 years of experience in diverse testing activities
• Proficient in testing RF, hardware, embedded systems, and system software components
• Knowledge of PCTA, CTA, OAT, and related testing methodologies
• Understanding of computer systems and electronics including power, analog, and digital circuits
• Experience with scripting languages such as Ruby, Labview, Python, or Perl
• Familiarity with test tools and test automation frameworks
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
