Assistant Service Manager

Terra Group is seeking an experienced, passionate, and service-driven *Assistant Service Manager* to support the overall management of front-of-house operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading service teams, maintaining operational excellence, driving guest satisfaction, and supporting the Restaurant Manager in daily business operations.

Job Summary

Responsible for assisting in the management of daily front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional service standards, leading service teams, and supporting overall restaurant performance and profitability.

Job Responsibilities

* Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily front-of-house operations across all service areas
* Lead, supervise, and support service teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences
* Ensure service standards, brand expectations, and operational procedures are consistently maintained
* Train, coach, and develop team members to improve performance and service quality
* Assist with staff scheduling, manpower planning, and labour productivity management
* Monitor floor operations and provide hands-on support
* Handle guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally and effectively
* Ensure cleanliness, safety, hygiene, and compliance with company and regulatory standards
* Coordinate closely with kitchen, bar, and management teams to ensure smooth service flow
* Monitor inventory and operational supplies as required
* Support daily reporting, opening and closing procedures, and administrative duties
* Act as Manager-on-Duty in the absence of the Restaurant Manager when required
