About Us

Junior Special Resources is an early intervention and special education centre providing learning support, student care, and intervention programmes for children aged 2 to 12 years with developmental and learning needs. We are committed to helping every child reach their fullest potential in a nurturing and supportive environment.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Special Needs Education Intern who is passionate about working with children and eager to gain hands-on experience in early intervention and special education.

This internship offers practical exposure and mentorship, with the opportunity to be considered for a permanent position upon successful completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist teachers during intervention and student care sessions.
• Support children with learning, communication, social and daily living skills.
• Prepare teaching materials and classroom activities.
• Assist with classroom management, snack time and toileting when required.
• Observe and record students' progress.
• Maintain a safe, positive and engaging learning environment.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree students/graduates in Special Education, Early Childhood, Psychology, Education or related fields.
• Passionate about working with children with special needs.
• Patient, responsible and willing to learn.
• No experience required. Training will be provided.

Internship Details

• Duration: Minimum 6 months
• Working Days: Monday to Friday
• Working Hours: 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Allowance

S$500 – S$800 per month (based on qualifications and experience)

Career Opportunity

Outstanding interns may be offered a full-time position as a Learning Support Educator or Special Needs Teacher upon successful completion of the internship.
