Position Title: Post Silicon Execution Engineer
About the Role:
This technical, hands-on engineering role involves validating the Post-Silicon Best Known Configurations to ensure system recipe and stability from the system firmware up to the OS levels products. The individual will collaborate with various stakeholders for execution and triage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute both manual and automated regression testing for system-level validation test cases.
- Create regression indicators/status reports to convey validation results.
- Triage regression failures.
- Use hardware debugging equipment such as protocol analyzers or oscilloscopes.
- Set up SUT for validation, including hardware installation such as CPU, DIMM, NIC, etc.
- Perform BIOS installation and work with Windows/Linux operating systems.
- Maintain and monitor SUT health.
- Troubleshoot hardware failures.
- Maintain and keep lab inventory organized.
Qualifications:
Experience Level: Junior (Fresh Graduates or candidates with < 7 years of experience in post‑silicon validation and debug)
- Knowledge of PC architecture and familiarity with modern x86 microprocessor architecture is highly preferred.
- Self‑starting team player with excellent communication skills and capable of working with minimal supervision.
- A passion for solving challenging technical issues is advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
