Responsibilities

• You must lead the strategy, design, and continuous improvement of enterprise endpoint security solutions across global environments.
• You are expected to define and maintain endpoint security standards, policies, and architecture to ensure alignment with enterprise security and regulatory requirements.
• You must oversee the deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of endpoint protection technologies, ensuring high coverage, stability, and compliance across endpoints, servers, and cloud workloads.
• You are expected to design and implement endpoint security baselines, hardening standards, and configuration policies using enterprise management platforms such as Microsoft Intune and Group Policy.
• You must collaborate with Security Operations, Incident Response, Infrastructure, and Workplace Technology teams to strengthen endpoint detection, containment, and response capabilities.
• You are expected to drive the integration of endpoint security platforms with SIEM, SOAR, and other security technologies to improve visibility, automation, and operational efficiency.
• You must manage endpoint security operations, including incident escalation, problem management, change governance, and continuous service improvement in accordance with ITIL best practices.
• You are expected to establish governance processes for endpoint security exceptions, risk acceptance, and policy compliance while ensuring appropriate security controls are maintained.
• You must work closely with vulnerability management and infrastructure teams to implement secure configuration baselines, reduce endpoint exposure, and improve overall security posture.
• You are expected to define operational KPIs, dashboards, and reporting metrics to measure service performance, compliance, and risk reduction across the endpoint security environment.
• You must lead vendor management activities, including solution evaluations, service performance reviews, contract governance, and technology roadmap planning.
• You are expected to mentor and develop technical teams while establishing operational standards, documentation, and knowledge-sharing practices.
• You must monitor emerging cybersecurity threats, endpoint technologies, and industry best practices, recommending enhancements to strengthen the organization's security capabilities.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in endpoint security engineering, endpoint protection, or information security, with at least 3 years in a leadership or people management role.
• Strong hands-on experience managing enterprise Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and Endpoint Protection/Antivirus (AV) platforms, including policy design, deployment, upgrades, troubleshooting, and reporting.
• Proven experience designing and managing endpoint security policies using Microsoft Intune, Group Policy Objects (GPO), or equivalent endpoint management solutions.
• Strong knowledge of endpoint operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and cloud-based workloads.
• Experience integrating endpoint security platforms with SIEM, SOAR, and enterprise security monitoring solutions.
• Experience implementing endpoint security controls, configuration baselines, and security hardening aligned with frameworks such as CIS Benchmarks and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Good understanding of vulnerability management, endpoint compliance, security governance, and risk management practices.
• Experience integrating endpoint security technologies with solutions such as Proofpoint, Zscaler, Exchange Online Protection, Secure Web Gateways, or similar security platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud environments including Microsoft Azure, AWS, or equivalent public cloud platforms.
• Experience with ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Major Incident Management, is highly preferred.
• Exposure to automation, scripting, or configuration management tools to improve operational efficiency is an advantage.
• Experience managing third-party vendors, managed security service providers, and enterprise security products.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GCED, GCIA, ITIL Foundation, or relevant endpoint security vendor certifications are highly desirable.
• Experience within highly regulated industries such as financial services, insurance, or banking is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and business stakeholders across global teams.

Pay: RM23,000.00 - RM24,000.00 per month
