About the Role

We are looking for an experienced PB Developer with strong expertise in Pitney Bowes technologies, including EngageOne Designer & Generate, Dataflow/Spectrum, SQL Server, and Automate BPA. The candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting document composition and customer communication management solutions in an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate should possess strong SQL development and database optimization skills, along with the ability to work independently and support end-to-end development activities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support solutions using Pitney Bowes EngageOne Designer and Generate.
• Work on Pitney Bowes Dataflow/Spectrum and Automate BPA solutions.
• Develop and maintain SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and complex queries.
• Tune and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to improve database performance and retrieval times.
• Support large-scale SQL Server database environments.
• Prepare technical design documents and related development documentation.
• Work closely with business users, project teams, and technical stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.
• Perform troubleshooting, defect fixing, and production support activities.
• Participate in testing, deployment, and implementation activities.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, development best practices, and project timelines.

Qualifications

5+ years of relevant experience in Pitney Bowes and SQL development.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Pitney Bowes development.

Experience with:

• EngageOne Designer
• EngageOne Generate
• Dataflow / Spectrum
• Automate BPA
• Strong SQL development experience, preferably in SQL Server environment.

Expertise in:

• Stored Procedures
• Functions
• Triggers
• SQL Scripts
• Query Optimization and Performance Tuning
• Experience working with large databases and enterprise systems.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in banking, insurance, or enterprise document management projects.
• Exposure to batch processing and workflow automation.
• Knowledge of production support and release management processes.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
