Process Engineer – Injection Moulding & Process Validation

Tuas, Singapore

Permanent | Full-Time

Salary: SGD $3,000 – $4,000 per month

Monday to Friday | 8:15 AM – 5:30 PM

I am currently supporting a manufacturing organisation in the search for a Process Engineer with strong hands-on experience in injection moulding, process validation and scientific process development.

This opportunity is well suited for an engineer with a strong technical background in manufacturing who is confident in process troubleshooting, validation studies and driving improvements within a regulated production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and technical support for injection moulding and manufacturing operations

• Troubleshoot product, process, equipment and moulding-related issues to maintain production stability

• Conduct root cause analysis and implement short-term containment and long-term corrective actions

• Plan, coordinate and execute IQ, OQ and PQ process validation activities

• Perform Scientific Process Development (SPD) studies and process characterisation

• Conduct process experiments, technical evaluations and DOE studies

• Lead process risk assessments and support pFMEA activities

• Optimise manufacturing processes to improve yield, productivity, efficiency and process robustness

• Identify engineering improvements across tooling, machinery and automation systems

• Prepare and review SOPs, work instructions, validation protocols and technical documentation

• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Production and Maintenance teams

• Provide technical guidance and training to technicians where required

• Participate in technical discussions with customers and relevant stakeholders

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant injection moulding experience

• Hands-on experience conducting IQ, OQ and PQ validation protocols is essential

• Experience performing Scientific Process Development (SPD) studies

• Strong knowledge of injection moulding processes and process troubleshooting

• Experience with process DOE and technical process analysis is highly advantageous

• Prior experience within medical device manufacturing is required

• Knowledge of ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 environments is advantageous

• Minitab experience would be an added advantage

• Able to independently conduct technical analysis and problem-solving

• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and guide technicians
