Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of meetings, conferences, weddings, banquets, and social events.
- Respond promptly to event inquiries and prepare proposals, quotations, and contracts.
- Conduct site inspections and hotel tours for prospective clients.
- Liaise with clients to understand event requirements, budgets, timelines, and special requests.
- Prepare Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and distribute them to all relevant departments.
- Coordinate with Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Housekeeping, Front Office, Engineering, and other departments to ensure smooth event execution.
- Attend and facilitate event briefings and pre-event meetings.
- Monitor event setup and ensure all arrangements meet client expectations.
- Handle last-minute changes and resolve operational issues efficiently.
- Maintain regular communication with clients before, during, and after events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, wedding organizers, and travel partners.
- Assist in achieving departmental revenue targets by maximizing event sales opportunities.
- Ensure accurate billing and coordinate with the Finance Department for payment follow-up.
- Maintain accurate event records, contracts, and client databases.
- Collect client feedback and prepare post-event reports.
- Ensure all events comply with hotel policies, safety regulations, and brand standards.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in hotel events, banquet sales, or event coordination.
- Experience in an international hotel brand is an advantage.

- Event booking conversion rate.
- Client satisfaction and feedback scores.
- Event revenue achievement.
- Accuracy and timeliness of Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
- Successful execution of events with minimal operational issues.
- Repeat business and client retention.
- Compliance with hotel and brand standards.
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
