As an Account Manager (Space Technology), you will be responsible for driving business growth, managing client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships across the government, education, and commercial sectors. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy engaging with people, creating business opportunities, and contributing to innovative space technology and STEM education initiatives.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant working experience in account management, sales, business development, client relationship management, or a related field.
- A strong interest in the space technology or aerospace industry is an added advantage.
- Proven ability to develop new business opportunities, build client relationships, and achieve sales targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients, strategic partners, educational institutions, corporate organisations, and government agencies.
- Proficient in preparing and delivering professional presentations using Mircosoft PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in additional spoken and written languages will be considered an added advantage.
- Possess a valid driving license and be willing to travel locally and internationally when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and grow client accounts while maintaining long-term business relationships.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s customer base and strategic partnerships.
- Promote and present the company’s space technology solutions, STEM education programmes, satellite initiatives, and related services to prospective clients and stakeholders.
- Prepare business proposals, quotations, presentations, and business negotiations to secure new projects and partnerships.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company at meetings, conferences, exhibitions, networking events, trade missions, and other business engagements.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and ensure timely updates of customer records and business opportunities.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the company’s overall business growth and strategic objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
