Job Summary

We are seeking motivated Audit Associates to join our Hong Kong–based CPA practice's Kuala Lumpur team, executing statutory audit and assurance engagements for clients across a range of industries, under the guidance of experienced seniors and managers. This is an excellent opportunity to build a strong external audit foundation with full ACCA support.

Key Responsibilities

· Execute audit assignments for clients across various industries under the guidance of seniors and managers.

· Perform audit fieldwork — risk assessment, tests of controls, substantive and analytical procedures.

· Prepare audit working papers in line with the firm's methodology and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).

· Assist in drafting financial statements and disclosures in accordance with MFRS.

· Review general ledger transactions and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.

· Communicate with clients to obtain audit evidence and resolve routine queries.

· Participate in stock-count observations and verification of inventories and fixed assets.

· Identify accounting or audit issues and escalate to seniors on a timely basis.

· Complete assignments within agreed budgets and deadlines, including during peak season (February–April).

Requirements

· Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline (accounting major preferred).

· Student member / part-qualified ACCA or equivalent (e.g., MICPA, CPA Australia); fresh graduates are welcome.

· 1–2 years of external audit / assurance experience (audit-firm background preferred); relevant internship or 1 year of experience is an advantage.

· Good command of written and spoken English; Cantonese / Mandarin an advantage for Hong Kong and cross-border clients (preferred, not a must).

· Working knowledge of MFRS and ISA.

· Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Excel.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills; detail-oriented and analytical.

Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,200.00 per month
