Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Quality Assurance department.
• Ensure compliance with Halal, HACCP, GMP, MESTI, and food safety standards.
• Oversee quality control processes from raw materials to finished products.
• Lead internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
• Investigate quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives and develop the QA team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry.
• At least 3–5 years of managerial experience leading a QA/QC team.
• Experience in Halal, HACCP, GMP, MESTI, ISO 22000/FSSC 22000 is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality management systems.
• Experience handling customer complaints, internal/external audits, CAPA, and root cause analysis.
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/QMS systems is an advantage.
• Experience in bakery, pastry, frozen food, or FMCG manufacturing will be an added advantage.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
