• Design, setup, and configure complex routing and switching environments (LAN, WAN, WLAN).
• Plan and implement network security measures
• Lead or assist in network upgrade projects, including hardware refresh and new technology adoption
• Ensure network designs adhere to industry best practices and company security policies.
• Manage, maintain and monitor all installed network systems and infrastructure (24/7 on-call rotation may be required).
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.
• Provide support and troubleshooting to resolve network issues promptly.
• Work closely with local Malaysian service providers (e.g., TM, Maxis, TIME, Celcom) for internet provisioning and issue resolution.
• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Maintain and administer network management tools.
• Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, defining, and monitoring access.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans of the network infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with local Malaysian regulations and internal audit requirements.
• Manage and maintain network access control lists (ACLs), and other security policies.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configuration, network diagramming, mapping, processes, and service records.
• Produce regular reports on network status, performance, and project progress.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of all network hardware and software assets.

Job Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong Hands-On Experience with:
• Network Routing & Switching (CCNA-level knowledge is a minimum). Strong understanding of OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, STP, VLANs, VTP.
• Knowledge of Network security & policies, NAT, and threat prevention.
• Network Protocols, In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, etc.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,200.00 per month
