Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Python Developer with strong expertise in the Django Framework to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and backend services. The ideal candidate should have experience building RESTful APIs, integrating databases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Python and Django Framework.
• Build secure, scalable, and high-performance RESTful APIs.
• Develop reusable, efficient, and maintainable backend components.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and database queries.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with backend logic.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and Product Owners throughout the SDLC.
• Support deployment activities and production issue resolution when required.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Python development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Django Framework.
• Experience building RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework (DRF).
• Strong knowledge of Python programming concepts and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Good understanding of ORM concepts and database optimization.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
• Knowledge of authentication mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth.
• Understanding of software design patterns and clean coding principles.
• Experience with unit testing and debugging.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in Python or cloud technologies are an added advantage.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM14,000.00 per month
