Resident Technical Engineer (WAN / SD-WAN / SSE)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Support Engineer to provide onsite technical

support for enterprise WAN, SD-WAN, and Secure Service Edge (SSE) environments. The

successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring network performance, troubleshooting

incidents, supporting network operations, and working closely with regional teams and vendors to

ensure timely issue resolution and optimal network availability.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide onsite technical support for WAN, SD-WAN, and SSE network environments.

- Monitor network performance and proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network

incidents.

- Support the configuration, optimization, and day-to-day operations of network infrastructure.

- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

- Coordinate with regional technical teams, service providers, and vendors for issue escalation and

resolution.

- Ensure incidents and service requests are handled within agreed SLAs.

- Maintain documentation of incidents, configurations, and procedures.

- Assist with network changes, upgrades, maintenance, and implementation projects.

- Participate in on-call support when required.

Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of experience in network support or operations.

- Hands-on experience with WAN, SD-WAN, and SSE.

- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and VPN.

- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

- Familiarity with Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, VMware VeloCloud, Cisco Meraki, or similar.

- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and with regional teams.
