Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct forward-looking exploration and research of foundational AI technologies, including but not limited to large model pre-training/post-training paradigm innovation exploration, architecture design for multimodal understanding and generative models; next-generation foundational architectures (e.g., Transformer-Next), and acceleration of large-scale model training and inference.
- Oversee and manage technology investments of the Intelligent Automotive Solutions BU across the APAC region. Conduct technical insights into the AI/large model academic community and research institutions in the Asia-Pacific region, analyse industry development trends and competitor strategies, identify key technological opportunities in AI and develop competitive technology roadmaps.
- Address AI-related needs in the targeted domains while also covering frontier advancements across the broader AI landscape.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
- PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related fields; ideally from a leading research group in local universities, or 5+ years of relevant industry experience with strong knowledge of Asia-Pacific domain.
- Proficient in deep learning, with hands-on experience in training and inference of large-scale models, including LLMs, VLMs, VLAs, and World Models preferred.
- Strong programming skills, proficient in C++ and Python. Candidates with awards in competitive programming contests (e.g., ACM, NOI, IOI) are highly preferred.
- Extensive hands-on experience in large models, natural language processing, computer vision, pattern recognition, image processing, planning and control. Demonstrated ability to identify industry trends and explore emerging technologies.
- Solid understanding of the overall development of intelligent vehicle technologies, with strong technical judgment to drive innovation and the adoption of new technologies.
Professional Knowledge Requirements:
- Proven R&D experience with a strong background in intelligent driving or intelligent cockpit domains, in areas such as large models, computer vision, pattern recognition, image processing, planning and control, NLP, etc.
- Active engagement in the research community is preferred, with publications in top-tier conferences/journals (e.g., AAAI, ACL, CVPR, ICCV, IJCAI) preferred.
- Strong understanding of the intelligent vehicle domain, including products, solutions, and evolving technology trends.
