Evolve Scientific is currently partnering with a Multinational client in search for a Civil Engineer to join their growing team in Singapore.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy working across construction sites and laboratories, supporting infrastructure and building projects through material testing, inspections, and technical evaluations. You will play a key role in ensuring testing activities are carried out accurately, safely, and in accordance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and carry out field-based engineering inspections and construction materials testing activities across project sites.
• Plan, execute and document site testing in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Analyse test data and prepare accurate technical reports to support project delivery.
• Interpret engineering drawings, project specifications and testing requirements to provide technical assessments.
• Assess the quality and performance of construction materials, including concrete, soil and other civil engineering materials.
• Ensure testing activities are conducted in compliance with quality management systems, regulatory requirements and relevant industry standards.
• Review technical documentation and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, clients and internal stakeholders.
• Assist in developing technical procedures, work instructions and training materials.
• Promote a strong safety culture by adhering to company HSE policies and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in construction materials testing, site investigations, quality assurance or civil engineering projects is preferred.
• Good understanding of construction methodologies, engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with quality systems, laboratory processes or industry accreditation standards is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with AutoCAD is beneficial.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and report writing skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
