Your Role

As our Sommelier, you will be the ambassador of our wine and beverage philosophy. You will design and manage an enticing wine list, recommend flawless pairings, and deliver an engaging, upscale dining experience. Beyond service, you will manage wine inventory, drive beverage revenue, and share your expertise to train the floor team.

Job Duties:

• Guest Experience: Provide expert, welcoming guidance on wine selections and food pairings, tailoring recommendations to guests' preferences and tastes.
• Wine List Management: Assist in curating, updating, and maintaining a diverse and profitable wine list that complements our fine dining menu.
• Cellar & Inventory Control: Oversee wine cellar organization, stock counts, purchasing, and optimal storage conditions. Ensure minimal wastage and precise cost control.
• Supplier Relations: Maintain strong relationships with wine distributors and winemakers; assist in organizing exclusive wine dinners and tasting events.

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a Sommelier or Wine Captain in a premium fine dining restaurant or high-end wine bar.
• Certified Sommelier qualification (e.g., CMS, WSET Level 3 or above, or equivalent) will be an advance.
• Deep knowledge of both Old World and New World wines, spirits, sake, and premium beverages.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong hospitality mindset.
• Fluency in English is essential
