Responsibilities

Provide technical support to customers and internal sales teams, including troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Develop and implement software for robotic systems, ensuring alignment with electrical engineering tasks such as wiring, sensor integration, and system commissioning.
Perform testing and validation of robotic systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including manuals, training materials, and customer reports.
Identify product issues, liaise with overseas suppliers, and prepare warranty claim reports when necessary.
Assist in product demonstrations and customer training sessions to showcase product capabilities.
Generate weekly technical activity reports.

Requirements

A diploma or degree in engineering or a related field (Mechatronics or E&E will be an advantage).
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply (experience in related fields and project planning will be an advantage).
Experience with industrial robots, AGVs and cobots will be an advantage.
Basic programming knowledge in PLC or PC-based languages will be an advantage.
Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and automation.
Ability to work on multidisciplinary projects.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Possess own car for local customer travel.
Overseas or outstation travel may be required.
Based in Georgetown, Penang.
