Your Key Responsibility Area:
- Identify potential business opportunities for the company in Malaysia, mainly in plantation industry; this involves conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and staying updated on market dynamics to identify areas of growth and potential partnerships.
- Networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and leveraging online platforms to identify and connect with potential clients or partners.
- Developing and nurturing relationships with clients and stakeholders, building effective relationship management to build trust, negotiate deals, and ensure long-term partnerships that benefits the company.
- Developing proposal and presentations to showcase the company’s products and service to potential clients which includes understanding client needs, preparing compelling value propositions, and presenting solutions that meet their requirements.
- Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, R&D, and project to align strategies, leverage resources, and ensure execution of business development initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry trends & market dynamics and provides to the company of strategic decision-making.
- Engage in negotiations and deal closures with clients or partners, including negotiating terms, contracts, and pricing to ensure profitable and mutually beneficial agreements.
- Tracking and reporting on business development activities and performance, includes generating reports, analysing key metrics (OKR/KPI), and presenting updates and performance to the management.
What do you require?
- Diploma or higher in business administration, sales & marketing or a related field is commonly preferred.
- Previous experience in business development, sales, marketing, or a related field is required. The level of experience can be 1-3 years. Adding advantage with experience in construction project industry in plantation in Malaysia
- Effectively communicate, persuade, and negotiate with clients & partners to achieve desired outcomes.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal, should be able to deliver compelling presentation, write persuasive proposals and communicate complex ideas clearly.
- Ability to achieve targets & drive revenue growth, being result-oriented, goal-driven, and able to work under pressure.
- Holding valid driving license and drive independently into plantation areas and estates.
- Willing to travel to rural areas in Malaysia and travel overseas occasionally.
- Salary will be negotiable according to experience.
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
