Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain firewalls (FortiGate, Palo Alto, or equivalent) — policies, VPNs, routing, and security profiles
• Manage endpoint security across client fleets — EDR/XDR deployment, policy tuning, threat response
• Administer Microsoft Intune — device enrolment, compliance and configuration policies, app deployment, BYOD and managed device rollouts
• Implement and manage Microsoft Purview — data loss prevention, information protection, retention, and compliance policies
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID and Defender for Endpoint / Defender for Business
• Support project delivery — from scoping and implementation through to documentation and handover
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated incidents; support the SOC/L1 team on security events
• Produce clear client-facing documentation — runbooks, configuration guides, and reports

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
• 2+ years hands-on experience in system/security engineering or IT infrastructure delivery
• Practical experience with firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar)
• Experience with endpoint security and Microsoft 365 security stack (Intune, Entra ID, Defender)
• Exposure to Microsoft Purview / compliance tooling is a strong advantage
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (routing, VLANs, VPN, DNS)
• Relevant certifications a plus — Fortinet NSE, Microsoft SC-200/MD-102/AZ-500, or equivalent
• Strong troubleshooting skills, self-driven, and able to work independently at client sites
• Good communication skills for client-facing delivery

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
