Responsibilities
ABOUT THE POSITION
Collect market information and industry data, track market dynamics of industry and companies.
Managing database of targets and trach status of opportunities
Providing initial investment review and screening of prospective investment opportunities for the firm as well as tracking of the firm’s investment pipeline
Participating in negotiations on behalf of the firm for new investments and conduct field research on targeted companies, providing investment support to senior team members.
Handle the due diligence and communication with target, internal teams and third party consultants (technical, financial, tax, legal, investment banks, etc)
Extensive financial modelling including sensitivity analysis to support potential investment opportunities
Providing financial evaluation of project investment opportunities including review of project documents
Assisting in preparation and presentation of Investment Recommendations to the firm’s Executive Committee
Assisting in coordination of integration process for newly acquired companies
Assisting in improving workflow with AI solutions
Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university in Finance, Economics, Business Management or related subjects
1 year experience (intern and/or full time) in video game and related sectors in corporate / private equity / investment banking is a plus but not a must
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is critical for the role
Strong quantitative and technical abilities
Experience of originating and structuring deals, preparing presentations, leading client meetings, documentation, negotiations and due-diligence
Drive, enthusiasm, creativity and excellent stakeholder/client relationship management experience required
Strong personal integrity, initiative and leadership qualities
Strong communication (verbal and written), multi-tasking and time management skills
Progress towards or completion of the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) qualification is highly desirable and will be considered an advantage
Experience in using financial information platforms such as CapIQ is preferred
Experience in adopting AI solution in working environment is preferred
