About The Client

Our client is a reputable property owner and operator with a well-established commercial portfolio in Hong Kong. They are currently undertaking a strategic repositioning and retail trade mix enhancement exercise for one of their shopping malls and are looking for a capable Leasing Manager to drive leasing performance

About the role

Strategic Trade-Mix Revamp: Formulate, implement, and execute comprehensive retail leasing strategies with a primary focus on restructuring and optimizing the current trade mix to elevate the mall's positioning, enhance traffic, and increase rental yield.

End-to-End Leasing Management: Oversee the entire leasing cycle, including new lettings, renewals, rent reviews, license agreements, and budget forecasting.

Relationship Management: Maintain and leverage strong networks with tenants, retail brokers, and industry partners to ensure high occupancy rates and smooth operations.

Market Intelligence: Conduct continuous market research and competitor analysis to understand latest retail trends, consumer behavior, and market rental movements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Property Management, Marketing, and Technical teams to coordinate tenant fit-outs, promotional events, and asset enhancement initiatives (AEI).

The successful applicants

• Degree holder in Real Estate, Surveying, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 to 8 years of solid experience in retail leasing, specifically gained from prominent shopping malls or landlord portfolios.
• Proven experience in asset repositioning, trade-mix optimization, or shopping mall revamp projects is highly preferred.
• A strong, established network with retail brands, F&B operators, and major commercial real estate agencies in Hong Kong.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Result-oriented with strong business acumen.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
