The Role You'll be central to the entire supply chain operation, overseeing procurement across direct, indirect, and non-trade categories. Here's a snapshot of what you'll be doing:

• Managing day-to-day purchasing activity and obtaining competitive quotations across multiple material categories
• Proactively sourcing new suppliers and alternative supply options to strengthen the vendor base
• Designing and driving cost-saving initiatives while keeping stockholding costs to a minimum
• Tracking and reviewing supplier performance against agreed standards
• Coordinating import shipments and managing related freight forwarder communications and documentation
• Contributing to ongoing improvements in procurement processes and systems
• Utilising ERP software to support efficient purchasing operations

What We're Looking For A commercially aware procurement professional with manufacturing sector experience. To be considered, you'll ideally bring:

• Solid experience managing both direct and indirect procurement in a manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to negotiate and manage a diverse supplier portfolio
• Hands-on ERP system experience within a procurement context
• A working knowledge of import logistics and freight coordination
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset
