Role Overview

The Cloud Architect will design, deploy, and secure cloud-based systems Commercial Cloud (CC) environments, with a strong emphasis on security controls, DevOps automation, and compliance with government IT policies.

Responsibilities

• :Demonstrate expertise in cloud architecture, cloud-native patterns, container management, and cloud computing capabilities, with strong emphasis on security best practice
• sDesign, develop, and deploy systems in GCC and CC, ensuring robust security controls and network boundary controls are integrate
• dDevelop and maintain cloud solutions, server, storage, and network infrastructure in accordance with IM8 policies and best practice
• sUtilize cloud security controls, network boundary controls, and related toolsets to ensure the security posture of cloud resource
• sDeploy, configure, and upgrade cloud resources while adhering to stringent security requirements during project implementatio
• nMonitor and review all cloud resources, resolving security-related issues and optimizing resource spending in line with GCC guideline
• sCollaborate with Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) to implement changes and improve security posture based on recommendations and best practice
• sTroubleshoot complex security issues and document solutions in accordance with security best practice
• sImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and integrate DevOps for all applications in GCC, including pipeline setup and integrations, with a focus on security automation and complianc
• eSet up new development tools and infrastructure in the CI/CD landscape, focusing on security automation and complianc
• eAutomate and improve development and release processes with strong emphasis on security best practice
• sAssist in Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives to implement end-to-end DevOps for identified applications/use case
• sMaintain and adopt Agile best practices and lifecycles for process workflows, ensuring security considerations are integrated throughout the development lifecycl
