We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented Project Manager to lead a high-end interior office fit-out in Kuala Lumpur through to completion. This is a hands-on, contract-duration role reporting directly to director level, with full ownership of project delivery.

You will be the person who holds the project together, managing trade contractors directly, driving the schedule, keeping documentation tight, and making sure the finished work meets specification and design intent.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own the delivery of the fit-out from the current stage through to handover

• Coordinate and manage trade contractors directly : joinery, glass, marble, timber, carpet, lighting, AV, and electrical

• Build, maintain, and enforce the project schedule and critical-path sequencing

• Move all approvals and sign-offs onto a formal, written process

• Review and verify contractor progress claims and variation orders against work actually completed and supporting documents

• Conduct quality checks to ensure delivered work meets specification and design intent

• Lead technical drawing review and resolve discrepancies with contractors

• Report project status, risks, and cost to leadership regularly

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven hands-on experience delivering interior fit-out or renovation projects end to end

• Detail-oriented, with a strong eye for quality and finishing standards

• Honest, accountable, and disciplined — works to documentation and evidence rather than verbal agreement

• Strong on both the commercial side (progress claims, variation orders, cost control) and the coordination side (scheduling, multi-trade management, sign-offs)

• Confident managing contractors directly and holding them to programme and specification

• Able to work independently in a lean, fast-moving environment

• Based in or near Kuala Lumpur, available for daily on-site presence

ADDED ADVANTAGE

• Quantity Surveying background or certification (BQSM, RICS, or a QS degree)
