About the Role

The ideal candidate will own the entire production process. He/She will strategize with other internal teams to ensure operational excellence. The best fit candidate will also run quality assessment to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage and evaluate entire production process
• Contribute to production planning and budgeting
• Lead and monitor quality assessments to ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain a safe production environment
• Coordinate with key internal and external production stakeholders
• Responsible to create understanding and motivate staff to achieve the production objectives
• To review customer work order received from Sales department
• To ensure quality of Molding & Decorative process is complied with the requirements during new project development and mass production
• To monitor continuous improvement plans such as cycle time reduction, yield improvement project & etc.
• To liaise with Supplier to resolve any problem related to production machine, equipment, infrastructure & etc.
• To provide technical advice on rectification of Molding & Decorative defects
• To monitor daily production planning
• To identify training needs for all production employees
• To plan for department continual improvement activities
• To ensure compliance with legal & statutory regulation, internal, customer & QMS requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Manufacturing or equivalent experience
• At least 5+ years of production experience in Plastic Injection Molding industries
