Position Title : Assistant Engineer (Solar Engineering)

Salary: RM 3,000 – RM 3,800 per month

Working hours: 5 days, 9am-6pm

Location: Mount Austin, JB

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and responsible Assistant Engineer to support the execution of Solar PV engineering projects and daily engineering operations. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on technical work, problem-solving, and are comfortable working both in the office and at project sites.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist engineers in project planning, implementation, and daily engineering activities.
• Support equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and routine inspections to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
• Attend site visits to inspect, monitor, and coordinate engineering work.
• Prepare technical reports, inspection records, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and contractors to ensure project progress.
• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with safety standards and company procedures.
• Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues during project execution.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and engineering documentation.
• Perform other engineering-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements :

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or other related engineering fields.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in relevant working
• Basic knowledge of engineering principles and technical documentation.
• Willing to travel to project sites when required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work independently with a positive learning attitude.
• Possess a valid driving licence will be an added advantage.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,800.00 per month

Education:

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

• Solar Engineering: 2 years (Preferred)

Language:

• English (Preferred)
• Mandarin (Preferred)
• Bahasa Malaysia (Preferred)
