Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Application Developer to design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications that support business operations. The ideal candidate should have experience in application development, system integration, troubleshooting, and delivering high-quality software solutions while working in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications.
• Analyze business and functional requirements to develop effective technical solutions.
• Develop new features and enhance existing applications based on business needs.
• Perform coding, unit testing, debugging, and application troubleshooting.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party systems.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA Engineers, Project Managers, and infrastructure teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and deployment guides.
• Support production releases and resolve application incidents and defects.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure application security, compliance, and performance standards are met.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in application development.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Experience in developing web-based or enterprise applications.
• Experience with at least one programming language such as Java, C#, .NET, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Strong SQL development and database design skills.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience integrating applications with external APIs and enterprise systems.
• Experience supporting production applications and incident resolution.

Banking Domain (Preferred)

Candidates with experience in banking or financial services will have an added advantage, including exposure to:
