Our Client is a global prop trading firm and they are hiring a Tech Support Engineer in Hong Kong (open to relocation support).

What You Will Do

• Respond rapidly to technical issues affecting in-house trading applications and production infrastructure.
• Enhance trading infrastructure and connectivity using robust project- and change-management tools.
• Investigate bottlenecks and analyze network performance to minimize latency and improve system efficiency.
• Proactively monitor system health and maintain comprehensive documentation for all IT infrastructure.
• Partner with developers and stakeholders to design and improve high-performance internal applications.

What You Will Need to Succeed

• 3+ years in Trading Operations, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering within an HFT or proprietary trading environment.
• Deep knowledge of Unix/Linux systems alongside strong Python, Bash, Go, or C++ scripting skills.
• Strong grasp of TCP/IP, multicast, and routing, with experience using packet analysis to resolve low-latency issues.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Familiarity with Kafka event-driven architectures, SQL/NoSQL databases, and cloud platforms like GCP.
