Role Summary

This incumbent is responsible to support the Process Engineer in driving productivity and process improvements across the production floor. This includes assisting in process audits, optimizing workstation layouts, supporting new product development, and participating in improvement projects leveraging Industry 4.0 technologies. The role provideshands-on exposure to manufacturing processes and offers opportunities to contribute to cost-saving and efficiency initiatives.

Role Responsibilities

A) Productivity Improvement

• Review and improve product cycle times.
• Optimize process flow at each workstation, including man/machine movement and workstation layout.

B) Process Audit / Yield Improvement

• Identify and enhance critical parameters for each workstation/process.
• Conduct regular process audits to ensure compliance and performance.

C) New Product Involvement

• Support new product development, including assembly and tooling setup.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for new products.

D) Other Improvement Projects

• Research and implement Industry 4.0 technologies to drive productivity and process improvements.
• Identify and execute potential cost-saving projects.

Role Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Degree/Diploma in Engineering or related field.
• Strong interest in manufacturing processes, productivity improvement, and process optimization.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues and suggest improvements
• Willingness to participate in new product development, including assembly and tooling setup.
• Good documentation skills, including writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
