Job Description – Snorkel Master (Pulau Payar)

* Lead and supervise daily snorkeling trips to Pulau Payar Marine Park.

* Conduct pre-trip safety briefings and explain snorkeling procedures to all guests.

* Assist guests with the proper fitting and use of snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel, fins, and life jacket).

* Guide guests during snorkeling sessions while ensuring their safety and enjoyment at all times.

* Monitor sea, weather, and water conditions, and make safety decisions when necessary.

* Provide immediate assistance and respond effectively to emergencies or distressed swimmers.

* Educate guests on responsible marine conservation practices, including protecting coral reefs and marine life.

* Share information about Pulau Payar’s marine ecosystem, fish species, and points of interest to enhance the guest experience.

* Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, cleaning, and maintenance of snorkeling equipment.

* Ensure all safety equipment is available, functional, and ready for use.

* Maintain accurate attendance records and guest waivers before departure.

* Coordinate with boat crew, captains, and operations staff to ensure smooth trip execution.

* Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a friendly, professional, and positive attitude.

* Enforce company safety policies and marine park regulations throughout the excursion.

* Assist with loading and unloading snorkeling equipment and preparing the boat before and after each trip.

* Report any incidents, equipment damage, or safety concerns to the Operations Manager.

* Support additional operational duties as assigned by management.

Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month
