Pentrac Itron is seeking a conscientious Calibration Technician that will be in charge of performing standard calibration processes on a variety of specialized equipment and responsible for recording and analyzing the results.
The main role of the Calibration Technician is to troubleshoot, problem solve and provide technical information to allow informed decision-making. The role will involve assisting technical teams with recommendations to resolve laboratory problems, roadblocks or equipment malfunctions that impact the performance or validity of testing.
Job Duties:
- Calibration of equipment, including troubleshooting, problem isolation & provide technical information for customer to make decision wisely.
- Maintenance of the various calibration equipment and platforms.
- Manage record retention for all Calibration Lab operations as needed.
- Identify non-conforming works related to calibration and report to Manager.
- Cal factors data entry.
- Compile reports for customer notification or problem resolution.
- Perform safety tests on equipment.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related background.
- Preferable to have minimum 1 years experience in related fields

- Adequate calibration experience
- Adequate computing skills such as Windows & Microsoft Office products
- Basic soft skill & communication techniques
- Calibration fundamentals & RF fundamentals
- ESD precaution awareness
Pay: RM2,100.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
