Overview.
This position is responsible to assist the Production Manager to manage the entire Production Department efficiently achieving maximum production output meeting Customer required quality. He is to assist the Production manager to ensure that the Department operates at peak efficiency - with customer satisfaction the primary goal - by supervising, organizing, planning and training Production staff and establishing an efficient management system for the Department.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities to ensure production schedules and output targets are achieved.
- Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality standards and customer requirements.
- Lead, coach, train, and motivate production operators to improve productivity and performance.
- Allocate manpower, materials, and machine resources efficiently to maximize production efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, quality standards, and workplace safety regulations.
- Identify production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions to minimize downtime and product rejection.
- Continuously improve production processes, reduce waste, and enhance operational efficiency through process improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with the Planning, Warehouse, Maintenance, and Quality teams to ensure uninterrupted production operations.
- Monitor raw material usage and assist in material planning to prevent shortages and minimize wastage.
- Ensure production machines and equipment are properly maintained and coordinate maintenance activities when required.
- Prepare and maintain accurate production records, shift reports, production batch records, and other related documentation.
- Report production performance, productivity, quality issues, and improvement initiatives to the Production Manager.
- Foster a safe, clean, and organized working environment by enforcing health and safety policies.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Mandarin speaker is advantage.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good understanding of production processes and lean manufacturing techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Flexibility to work in shifts or extended hours when necessary including weekends & public holidays.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
